During the leadership of the fight against England, the Commanding General and Commander of Air Corps Colonel General Grauert found a heros death. Colonel General Grauert, who had earned exceptional merit for the reconstruction of the German Air Force, was instrumentally involved with his Air Corps in the success of the campaigns in Poland and in the West. As an exemplary soldier and commander, he led his corps to the highest achievements in the fight against the British motherland.
