Mason Herrin was born on 10th May 1922. He served with Company A, 134th infantry Regiment, 35th Infantry Dvision. The regiment was involved in liberating the city of Nancy, France, on 15th September 1944. Mason Herrin was killed in the vacinity of Nancy on 21st September 1944.
At the time of his death he was married to Retha M. Herrin-Bass. They had one daughter and another one was born after his death.
