Biography
Hermann Meyer was aknowledged with shooting down four enemy plains as fighter pilot with Jagdgeschwader 26:
01: 19th August 1942 - Spitfire near Dieppe.
02: 16th September 1942 - Spitfire near Ault.
03: 18th January 1943 - Mustang near Rue.
04: 17th February 1943 - Spitfire near St. Omer.
On 13th March 1943, Oberfeldwebel Hermann Meyer was killed in a fight with a Spitfire. On this day he flew wit a Focke-Wulf Fw 190 A-4 Werknummer 5615 Weiße 12.
His grave can be found in France, Champigny-St. André, Block 10, Grab 1192.
