Wollfgang Wenning was killed together with his observer Gustav Delp when his Messerschmitt Me 410 (9K + ZP) of II. / Kampfgeschwader 51 collided with the Airspeed Oxford LX196 piloted by P/O Gregor Stephen Moore.
