Biography

John C. Troxell was born on June 24th, 1923 as the son of John Henry Troxell and Edna Mae Cole. He married in 1944 to Elevee Ammons. The couple have two children, Diane and Rebecca.

He entered service on November 27th, 1942 at Fort Bragg. He received a technical training at Keesler Field, Mississippi and his gunnery training at Harlingen, Texas. In Dezember 1943 he became operational.
Technical Sergeant Troxell took part in operations over Ploesti, in Rumania, on Munich, Vienna and over Hungary and Yougoslavia.

Besides his Ww2 related decorations he also received the "Occpation Army Medal" and the "Korean Service Medal".
