"In an attack at Bretteville l'Orgueilleuse, M.R. 925717 Sergeant Dumas and his gun crew manhandled his gun from position to position stalking tanks.
During this action three Panzer Mk IV tanks were destroyed without casualties to any of hin gun crew or equipment. This NCO displayed remarkable initiative and coolness and the tactics which he employed on this occasion [ …erially] helped in keeping the position intact."
