Biography

Alvin Wyllis Mohr was born on August 1st, 1927 in Wilcox, Nebraska. He was enlisted on October 26th, 1945 at Fort Lewis, Nebraska. He left for Japan to be part of the occupation forces on March 29th, 1946, to arrive there on April 10th. He left for the United States again on December 24th, where he arrived on January 7th, 1947. He was honorably discharged on February 5th, 1947.

For his part in the occupation forces of Japan, Alvin Mohr also received the Army Occupation Medal with "JAPAN" clasp.
