Isidor Garhammer was, according to his deathcard, born in "Ungarn". Not certain is if here is meant the country of Hungary of a city/area with that name.
He was a Fallschirmjäger and fought in the East, Sudetenland, France and the Netherlands. Isidor Garhammer was killed in action in the Netherlands on November 14th, 1944. When his remains were tranferred from the original burial site to the German cemetery in IJsselteijn, his body could not be identified properly. He therefore is buried in an unknown grave.
