Harold H. Hultquist, served from February 21st, 1943 to June 26th, 1944 as an enlisted man while in training to become a pilot. He served as officer from June 27th, 1944 until July 15th, 1945. He finally served as Pilot of a B-24 Bomber with the rank of First Lieutenant with 449th Bomb Group. He left for the European Theatre on November 12th, 1944 and returned to the United States on May 6th, 1945. Although he was trained as pilot he only flew as a co-pilot on the B-24 bomber.

He was also entitled to wear the Distinguished Unit Citation Ribbon with oak leaf cluster.
