The Lancaster crashed near Gorssel, the Netherlands. The Crew Members were Sergeant Robert Leslie Coulter (Air Gunner), Flying Officer Edward John Deemer (Air bomber), Sergeant Arthur Diggle (Flight Engineer), Flight Sergeant John Laurence Duffy (Navigator), Sergeant John Edwin Hammond (Wireless Operator), Sergeant Alexander John Hull (Air Gunner) en Pilot Officer Thomas Elliott Vipond (Pilot). All were killed in the crash and buried at Gorssel.
