Biography
Wladyslaw Sikorski, a veteran of the First World War, Polish-Ukrainian War and the Polish-Soviet War, was the Prime Minister of the Polish government in exile in London and Commander in Chief of the Polish Armed Forces in the West between September 1939 and July 1943. He rebuild the Polish army, which layed in tatters after September 1939, and he has also made efforts to strengthen. Poland's position within the Allied Powers. Wladyslaw Sikorski was killed in a plane crash at Gibraltar on July 4, 1943.
