Biography

Clyde Hill entered service on May 3rd, 1944 and was placed with Company C, 119th Infantry Regiment, 30th Infantry Division. He was seriously wounded when his unit got in an ambush by a German Machinegun near Essen, Germany in March 1945. He recovered in the 48th Field Hospital and was later transferred to the Lawson General Hospital in Atlanta.
