Son of Edward Dickerson, and of Florence Clarey Dickerson, of St. Asaph, Flintshire. His plane (Spitfire Mk IX, BR602) went missing while escorting B-17s to Rotterdam. He died 3 km south of Bruges (along Titecastraat) after his parachute failed to open.
