Biography

Leland Morrison entered service at Fort Ben Harrison, indiana on February 16th, 1942 and was stationed with Headquarters Company, 15th Armored Infantry Regiment. He left for Europe on February 11th, 1944 to arrive there February 23rd. After participating for the liberation of Europe het left for the United States on September 30th, 1945 to arrive there on October 7th. He was honorably discharged at the Separation Centre 45 on October 20th, 1945.

After the Second World War, Leland Morrison also served in Korea and from February11th, 1967 until September 10th, 1968 in Vietnam. He was honorably discharged from reserves on October 31st, 1971 with the rank of Sergeant 2nd Class (promotion November 22nd, 1967).

Leland E. Morrison was a borther to Howard W. Morrison.
