"For his work in our W/T Traffic Room since November 1943. Stone has been responsible for an inherently difficult type of communication namely to maintain regular contacts with low powered sets in the field and frequently working to operators who for one reason or another were in difficulties about transmitting. This N.C.O. has shown a perseverance and a conscientious devotion to duty which has been an example to his staff and the success of our communications has been very largely due to his exceptionals capabilities and effort."
