Cornelis Hillebrand was the son of Samuel Hillebrand and Cornelia Meliefste. He was a civil worker and member of the resistance. After refusing to work for the Germans in April 1944, he was arrested and transported away. He died on February 10th, 1945 in Peres near Leipzig.
