André Dupuis reached the rank of Major. He was imprisoned in 1944 and sentenced for life hard labour in the Lambèse prison in Algeria. He was released around 1953.

31.08.1944 : volonteer to join the Waffen SS as an Untersturmführer - 33.SS Div. Charlemagne in Germany
00.03.1945 : sentenced to camp for desertion after the fightings in Pomerania
00.05.1945 : liberated from the camp and emprisoned in France
00.00.1950 : liberated from prison
00.00.1980 : died in Tunesia
