Biography

Edmund Henry Kean entered service on August 21st, 1940. He served with the 17th Railway Operating Group and arrived in Egypt on May 15th, 1941. He arrived back in New Zealand on February 10th, 1944 and was honorably discharged on April 8th, 1944.

August 31st, 1941: Corporal;
February 16th, 1942: Acting Sergeant;
June 23rd, 1943: Temporary Sergeant;
September 23rd, 1943: Sergeant.
