"On 13 April 1945, at Barleben, Germany, Private First Class Arthur Capuzzo performed his assigned duties in a heroic manner. After "C" Battery's occupation of position the enemy threw countless barrages of artillery fire in the battery area. Despite the shelling, Private First Class Capuzzo remained at his post so that urgent fire missions could be fired."
