“Warrant Officer Elliott has completed a considerable number of operational sorties as a navigator. During the siege of Imphal, he flew on numerous supply-dropping missions and since joining 357 Sqn he has completed further sorties of a similar nature. He has shown great keenness and enthusiasm for operational flying and the success his crew has achieved has been largely due to his very high standard of navigation.”
