    Who could tell more about this man?

    In the 2nd half of the 1950's until halfway the 1960's he was a Colonel in the Dutch Army and send out as representative in NATO
    His service number was 040402000.

    Van Dam was also awarded with:
    Officer in the Order of Orange Nassau with swords
    Officer's Long Service Decoration, for 35 Years
    Cross for the Four Day Marches (NBVLO)

    The decorations were auctioned at Dix Noonan Webb's. With the items there also was a recent note stating, ‘Dutch Resistance, came to U.K. after War.’

    Career:
    December 10th, 1954 - August 1st, 1963: Representative of Member Government to the Council of the North Atlantic Treaty Organisation, the Netherlands, Military Agency for Standardisation.
