Leading Aricraftsman Harold Herbert Lee (Fitter 11E) served with Air Sea Rescue aboard Motor Launch 112, stationed at Gorleston On Sea. Somewhere in 1941 or 1942 the ship struck a mine, incapacitating the deck crew. LAC Lee brought the ship safely back into the harbour and was subsequently Mentioned in Despatches and promoted to Corporal.
