Lived in the Dutch East Indies. Not married, Missionary Congregation of the Holy Family. After the Japanese invaded Balikpapan in the night of Januaty 23rd/24th, 1942, on February 20th, 1942 in revenge for the destructions to the oil installation there, a group of 75 (possibly 78) civilians and POW's were driven into sea at Klandassan Ketjil and killed with machinegun fire by the Japanese.
