Adonick Wilhelm Kautz served as Korporaal-radiotelegrafist on board a Martin model 139 bomber with the 1e Afdeling, Ie Vliegtuiggroep ML-KNIL. According several sources he was killed in the crash of his aircraft, other sources mention he was taken POW and was killed after an attempt to escape.
