Lived in Haarlem, Barteljorisstraat 12. Unmarried. Student/shop assistant. Roman Catholic. Member of the resistance.
He had evaded compulsory labour in Germany and gone into hiding. You eventually ended up on the farm of resistance fighter Jan Loos in Spanbroek. In the weekend of 24 and 25 February 1945, it became clear that several people in the group to which Loos belonged had been arrested as a result of betrayal. Loos went into hiding and felt obliged to take over the management of the farm. He did not want Mrs Loos to be left to fend for herself. When the Landwacht searched for Loos, they did not find him, but they did find Bosse. He was taken to Amsterdam for questioning and in fact his fate was already sealed at that moment. He was executed by firing squad at Rozenoord on the Amsteldijk in reprisal for the attack on SS-Befehlshaber Hanns Albin Johann Baptist Rauter on 6 March 1945 near Woeste Hoeve. A Requiem Mass for Bosse was held on 23 March 1945 in the parish church of St. Antonius van Padua in Haarlem.
