    Biography

    Lived in Amsterdam. Son of pastor/army chaplain/bookseller Gijsbert Willem Goedhart (12 September 1877 Arnhem - 10 January 1952 Hilversum) and Francina Dingena Helena van Heuven (6 June 1872 Arnhem - 3 December 1919 Arnhem). Married to Johanna Wilhelmina Jansen (April 30, 1904 Rotterdam - January 15, 1927 Rotterdam). Remarried to Anna Maria Duvalois (November 25, 1906 Rotterdam - December 23, 1979 Rotterdam).

This idea was betrayed to the Germans. By whom remains unknown. Goedhart was carrying incriminating documentation at the time of his arrest. He was transferred to the detention center in Amsterdam via the Haagsche Veer agency in Rotterdam. He was sentenced to death and shot at the Crailo shooting range.
