Lt Col S Aninga has been the representative of the Netherlands Military Administration with the Forward Echelon of G-5 Section SHAEF Mission (NETHERLANDS) at Eindhoven since November 1944. This officer not only most skillfully represented Netherlands Military Administration but has been an outstandingly helpful assistant to the mission. His co-operation in meeting the requirements of the Mission, of passing their directions in a tactful way to those Netherlands Authorities concerned, and his interpretation of Netherlands feeling to the Mission have proved of the utmost value. It is true to say that without the help of Ly Col S. ANINGA the work of this Forward Echelon would have been far less effective than it was, since it was due to his initiative and zeal that many problems were cleared up to the satisfaction both of the Armies in the field and the Netherlands.
