In relation to the award the letter to the Military Secretary, The War Office, Whitehall is noteworthy:
22 april, 1951:
Monsieur George Broussine
The above-named, a member of both Paris City Coucil and that of the Seine department, has written to me asking for a copy of the citation under which he was awarded the Military Cross
M. Broussine states that he was recommended for the award in November 1943, and received the medal from Brigadier CROCKETT in August 1944, but has never had a copy of the citation. This he now requires for submission to the Chancery of the Legion d'Honneur.
If such copy can be provided, may it please sen to me for onward transmission.
