Louis Linden was born on May 19th, 1918 (Commemorative stone at Neeroeteren mentions the wrong year of 1916) as son to Jan Jozef Linden (December 17th, 1890, Neeroeteren, Belgium) and Maria Sophia Erkens (March 8th, 1889, Maeseijck, nowadays Maaseik, Belgium). He was born in Uden while his parents were there as refugees during the First World War. He was not married and was during World War 2 a member of the Belgian Resistance. He was executed on September 13th, 1944.
