Walter Lee Presley U.S Army Tech. 5 served in New Guinea,New Britain and Borneo with the 593rd Engineer Shore Regiment 1943,44,45 along side the Australian army. THE 593RD ESB was virtually the only American troops outside the Navy to support the Australian troops.They made 7 combat landings. His company "B" was attacked at LaBaun island by the last Japanese Banzai attack Of WW ll
