Biography

He served in the territorial army before the war.

He sustained several injuries during his WWII service, including burns to his face, broken bones and a fractured knuckle joints to his left hand, that left him with permanently hooked middle and ring fingers.

After the war he worked in civil engineering as a quantity surveyor.

He retired to Allihies, Co. Cork, Ireland.
