Biography

Guards Lieutenant Colonel Mikhail Shevchenko served in the Red Army from 1930 and fought on the frontline since June 1941. He commanded the 11th Guards Cavalry Corps. Colonel Mikhail Shevchenko was placed in the reserves in 1959 and died on 9 May 1992.
