Biography
Donald C. Gamble of New Bedford, Massachusetts was an Aviation Ordnanceman Second Class (AOM2c) in the US Navy. As a member of the VB-110 FAW7 in Dunkeswell, Devon, England during WWII he was the ball turret gunner on the Consolidated Bomber plane PB4Y-1 Bu No 63490. On March 31st, 1944 his plane went missing over the Bay of Biscay and he was declared killed in action on April 1st, 1945.
