Biography

Walter H. Pappas served with the US Marine Corps, obtaining the rank of Sergeant. During World War Two he took part in the Battles for Saipan and Tinian and was part of the troops who frist reached Nagasaki at the end of the war. He also served during the Korean War, but remained in the United States.

Promotions:
October 6th, 1950: Sergeant.

Career:
August 2nd, 1951: Honorable discharge.
