Grigoriy Zverev was a Soviet Colonel who was captured in May 1943, before he defected to the Germans. Zverev received a leading role as Generalmajor in the Russian Liberation Army (ROA) and fought against the Red Army. He was hunted and captured by the Soviets in May 1945 and eventually hanged for high treason in 1947.
