“Generalleutnant Kuntzen particularly distinguished himself with his Panzer-Division via his especially bold forward drive and brave attitude during the breakthrough to the Channel coastline. On the 20.05.1940 his Division took Montreuil sur Mer by storm; from there he personally led his Division towards the East.”
