"This officer proved himself to be an outstanding CREME, his continuous and energetic work, often carried out under most difficult conditions has enabled the equipment of 1 Polish Armoured Division to be maintained in good battle worthy condition throughout this campaign.

By his personal intervention and supervision, often under enemy fire, he has ensured that work has been carried on at full pressure in workshops, Advanced Workshop Detachments and Light Aid Detachments.

It is strongly recommended that a decoration be awarded in recognition of his outstanding work".
