"This N.C.O. was Tp. Cmdr's wireless operator throughout June, July & August. At no time did he fail to get fire orders through. On 15-16 July he was under heavy fire in an O.P. despite this he carried out his duties unaffected and the destruction of 47 enemy lorries and guns were largely due to his fine work."
