Biography

Thomas Peter Allenby was the son to Thomas Peter and Irma Allenby. He served as Air Gunner and Sergeant with the Royal Canadian Air Force.

He was killed on September 11th, 1942 when his Vickers Wellington DV867 from No. 26 Operational Training Unit, was shot down at Hunsel, Belgium by a German Night Fighter. The crew consisted of Sergeant Alexander Irvine Lewis Downs, Sergeant James Joseph Kearns, Sergeant Ronald Herbert Kirkpatrick, Sergeant James William Rowling and Sergeant Thomas Peter Allenby.
