"Pilot Officer has always shown great qualities of courage and determination which have enabled him to teach and attack successfully a large variety of objectives. On four occasions this officer's aircraft has sustained damag from the ground defences, but in spite of this he invariably presses home his attacks with coolness and tenacity.
Since his last award he has completed numerous sorties which have ncluded two attacks on Berlin.
