1 citation in the brigade order:

"Calm and resolute Algerian affairs officer who, on October 1, received the delicate mission of setting up a specialized administrative section in the very heart of Ouled Sultan, a particularly dangerous suburban sector of Blida that had become a refuge for many rebel cells that terrorized the 15,000 inhabitants of the neighborhood. Through tenacious, intelligent and courageous action, he managed to restore the confidence of the population and, through the information he obtained from them, largely contributed to the destruction of the opposing organization. Must be considered one of the main architects of the pacification of the Blida urban area. Currently commands the Specialized Administrative Section of Bellefontaine, where he continues to give the full measure of his brilliant qualities as an organizer and leader."
