SS-Oberst-Gruppenführer Franz Schwarz was a German politician in the NSDAP and served as the Reichsschatzmeister (National Treasurer). Schwarz led a Volkssturm battalion at the end of the war and was arrested by U.S. forces. Schwarz died in prison and was postumously found guilty for committing war crimes.
