Armand Suin was born in Francourville near Chartres in France on 19th September 1918. He enlisted in the French Army in 1939. After the beginning of the war he left occupied France for England and volunteered for the french Squadron of the Special Air Service. He served with 3rd SAS until the end of the war. He participed in the campaign for France and was dropped in Bretagne in June 1944. After that he participed to Amherst Operation in the Netherlands.
He finished the WWII with the grade of Chef Sergent.
After the WWII, he stayed in the army and served during the Indochine and Algerian independance Wars.
He left the army with the grade of Commandant.
