Capt Garner-Jones himself accounted for several of the enemy. During this action he was everywhere exposing himself without the least regard for personal danger. He inspired his men by his courage and his sound tactics. After this success he withdrew his men without loss being the last to leave. After this success he withdrew his men without loss being the last to leave."
