"This officer went to France by Lysander on 8th February 1944 as W/T operator to a circuit in the SAONE et LOIRE. He worked for five months in conditions of grave danger. He proved himself a loyal and courageous officer and showed outstanding devorion to duty.
Arrested in July 1944 he was executed at MONTLUC on 20th August 1944.
It is recommended that this officer be awarded a Posthumous Mention n Despatches."
