Sergeant Hinsen, 3.(F)Staffel/Aufklärungsgr.122 received the Group Silver Cup in recognition of his 50th combat sortie dated 6. 2. 1942.
MIA 25/26 April, 1943 with the Ju 88 D-5 (WNr 430006) of 3(F)./122 after aerial combat with Spitfires of RAF No. 43 Sq., over the North Sea, off the Tyne.
Remaining crew (MIA): Lt Hans Müller, Ofw Günther Jäschke, Fw Josef Glomb and Uffz Christain Hinsen.
