Biography
Oberfeldwebel Lindemann flew mainly within the 8./ Kampfgeschwader 27 'Boelke' and was credited with 163 air missions.
He was KIA with his entire crew the 1st June, 1941 when his He 111P-2 (Werknummer 1421) "1G + DS" was attacked by a Beaufighter of No.604 Sq., and broke up, crashing at Birches Wood, near Cranborne, Dorset. Remaining crew (all buried Blanford Cem): Oblt Joachim Kleinfeldt, Observer (Grave nr.37); Uffz Hellmut Häring, Radio/Operator (Grave nr.43) and Fw Georg Emig,Fleet Engr (Grave nr.44).
