"This officer has been APM 15 Army Group since December last. He has been responsible for the co-ordination of Provost duties between 5 and 8 Armies during this period and his tactful and efficient handling of these duties has resulted in extremely smooth working. He has also been responsible for the security and routing arrangements of many distinguished British visitors to the HQ during the period., when his provost arrangements were extremely satisfactory.

He has shown extreme tact and zeal in the performance of his duties, especially in co-operating with his American counterpart. As a Provost officer, he has shown an extremely high sense of duty and (..) in example in his bearing and conduct to all ranks.
