"TOBRUK - Period April - October 1941.
Officer commanding the P.A.S.S. he was responsible for the maintenance of supplies to British Units in the Western Desert from May to July 1941. Immediately on arriving in Tobruk he took over all vehicles from the A.A.S.C. and assumed the duties of supplying the Fortress. This entails the unloading of ships and the transport of stores from the harbour to supply depots which is being carried out satisfactorily although very often under aerial bombardment and artillery fire. Captain Wozniak is personally responsible for the organisation and performance of this difficult work."
