"Major PROZWICKI was commander of engineers attached to RUD FORCE which of necessity were few in number. In spite of this and the fact that he was faced with difficult tasks and demands, he so ably and skillfully organised the egineer work from the SENIO river to BOLOGNA that all calls on the sappers were carried out with the maximum speed and efficiency.

His command of the sappers and their work in repairing Route 9 clearing the mines from diversions and forcing river crossings, enabled RUD FORCE to have swiftly and finally capture BOLOGNA."
